The video is composed of a constant frame that shows the word PURGATORY on a white background with voice-overs consisting of nine synethetes’ descriptions of each letter that spells purgatory. “colors of a day, old bruise” or “it tastes like a sweet cheese on bitter greens wrapped in an apple with lemon squeezed on” are some of the responses by various types of synesthetes.
